Congratulations Malcolm and Adele!

It is with sadness that I write this post from Alexandria, Virginia. I wish with all of my heart and should that I could be in Snailwell tonight. It is not for lack of trying that we are not there. After three days of planes, trains and automobiles we had to admit defeat. We would not be able to be in Snailwell for Malcolm and Adele's wedding. Who are Malcom and Adele? They are the two people I have wished most in this world would get married. When two people are meant to be together, I am a hopeless romantic and I believe that even if it takes over five years....it will happen. Snailwell is a surreal place and it's residents are living in a perpetual state of storybook meets the twilight zone. Malcolm is the handsome prince and Adele is his fairy princess. They may ride bicycles instead of wild steeds and have a village allotment instead of a vast kingdom but they are Snailwell royalty and now they may just be vying for the status of royal couple. I may not be there in the flesh but after five years of hiatus, I have been moved by Malcolm and Adele's wedding to resurrect the Snailwell Gazette. Formerly a print 'zine I have decided to move into the digital world and transition to digital form. The exception being that after being unable to physically make it to Malcolm and Adele's wedding, the only gift I can think of to give them is a wedding edition of the Snailwell Gazette. It was either that or a rose bush for the garden and I think that may be a little difficult to post.
